"President Trump shared a sickening video using a distinctly racist trope to portray former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. No clever framing or political spin can soften what this is. It is racism. plain, ugly, and intentional. And to do it during Black History Month makes it even more insensitive and unconscionable.
What is just as troubling is how often this behavior surfaces when serious questions are raised about power, accountability, and the president’s own name appearing repeatedly in the Epstein files, as reported publicly.
A president sets the tone for a country, and this tone is corrosive. We must reject it firmly and remember that silence in moments like this is not neutrality. It is a choice!"
