  • insurance
  • mail fraud

Virtual Insurance Town Hall

I worked with the California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara, California Fire Marshal Daniel Berlant and United Policyholders Executive Director Amy Bach to provide the latest updates and pressing issues surrounding homeowners insurance in California.

As wildfires, market shifts and regulatory changes reshape the insurance landscape, many Californians are left with questions and rising concerns. This free, live town hall will help you:

  • Better understand how recent changes may affect your coverage
  • Learn about available options if you've been dropped by your provider

Healthcare Conversation

I hosted an in-person conversation at Sinsheimer Elementary in San Luis Obispo on the future of healthcare along the Central Coast. This public forum was live steamed and moderated by the League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County, featuring expert guest speakers and focused on key healthcare issues impacting our community.

Topics of Discussion:

  • Medicaid/Medical access
  • Healthcare workforce development
  • Local healthcare challenges and community-driven solutions

Stay Informed on Drug and Alcohol Use

Guest speaker speaking while seated audience listens on

My office, in partnership with Sun Street Centers and Monterey Peninsula Unified School District hosted a community resource fair on drug and alcohol use at Seaside High School.

I am honored to support this effort to reduce the number of overdoses and deaths from fentanyl, opioids and alcohol by providing comprehensive education to help families better understand the realities of drug use among youth in our community.

Coffee Chat With Assemblymember Dawn Addis

Outdoor coffee chat

I enjoyed having the community join me for a cup of coffee and conversation at Cat & Cloud Coffee in Aptos regarding state and legislative issues that affect our community.

Aptos Office Hours

Open house

We hosted Aptos Office Hours in the office of Supervisor Zach Friend. Our community's input plays a vital role in shaping our work, so I can better represent your interests in Sacramento.
