Dawn Addis, a former special education teacher, represents California’s coastal 30th Assembly District. She currently chairs the Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Health, overseeing a $200 billion budget. She is also the inaugural chair of the California Legislative Central Coast Caucus. Assemblymember Addis helped craft the Climate Bond in 2024. She has been appointed by the Assembly Speaker to the Ocean Protection Council and brings Central Coast priorities to statewide and national conversations on the environment and climate.
